Tranformers: Age of Extinction was directed by Michael Bay, Produced by Don Murphey, Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce and written by Ehren Kruger. It was released for the first time in the USA on the 27th of June 2014, however was released in the UK on July 5th 2014. It runs for 165 minutes. The 4th Transformers film had an estimated budget of around $210,000,000. In the opening weekend, the action film made $100,038,390 in the USA and grossed $244,435,833.

  • IMDb have rated the film a 6.2 and have described it as 'boring and a waste of money', another quote says that it 'goes on for too long'.
  • Unfortunately, Rotten tomatoes have rated the film 1 out of 5 stars (18%)
  • Metacritic have rated the film 1 and half stars (32%)
 
Trailer
The first televised advertisement for Transformers: Age of Extinction aired during Super Bowl XLVIII. The first official teaser trailer was released on March 4, 2014. On March 30, 2014, a shortened version of the teaser trailer was aired during the season 4 finale of The Walking Dead. Another shortened version of the teaser trailer was aired during the 2014 MTV Movie Awards.
